Welcome to the Atlantic Babe Ruth Softball League!
The ABRSL provides a competitive fastpitch softball experience to players in the Southern NJ area.
Currently, we host Babe Ruth sanctioned teams from Absecon, Galloway, Egg Harbor City, Egg Harbor Township, Folsom, Linwood, Mays-Landing, Mullica, and Ventnor. Above all, our league emphasizes fun and sportsmanship. Our players learn the game of softball while developing their individual and team skills to their fullest potential.
The ABRSL features league play for 6u, 8u, 10u, 12u and 14/16u divisions. At the conclusion of the regular season, towns in the ABRSL send their respective all-star teams into Babe Ruth tournament play.

2010 League Announcements

Softball Clinic
The Atlantic Babe Ruth Softball League in conjunction with the Richard Stockton College softball team are proud to announce a Defensive Skills softball clinic for those players with little or no softball knowledge. This clinic is open to players aged 6 to 16 and will be held indoors at the Stockton College gymnasium on Sunday, February 21st from 11:00 to 12:30. The cost per participant is $20.00. Topics include throwing, catching, and fielding. Coaches and players from the Richard Stockton softball team will be providing the instruction. This clinic is part of a series of "promoting softball" clinics that will be held by the ABRSL.

Lets hear from you! - During this time, coaches, players and parents are being asked to submit their thoughts, ideas and comments about the ABRSL so we can continue to experience improvement and growth of the league. Get Involved! - Volunteers are always needed to help run the league! Volunteers are not required to have any prior experience. All that is required is a willingness to help the young ladies of South Jersey have a pleasant experience playing softball! If you would like to get involved please let us know. There are various league officer and coordinator positions available.
**New for 2010** Coordinators for each division will be used. Information on the coordinators can be located in the "Division Coordinators" tab of this website.

Coaches, please be advised that the rules section of this website is undergoing changes. Final versions of the ABRSL ruleset will be available by March 1st.

Important Dates
The 2010 14-game season will begin Monday, April 12th and conclude on Friday, May 28th. Playoffs will run from June 7th to June 11th. The League Fun day will be held on Saturday May 15th in EHT.
